What's the big deal about nutrition?

Whether your goals are to lose weight or to enhance athletic performance, you simply can't out-train a bad diet. Food is fuel. What we eats determines how we feel and can affect not only what you look like on the inside and outside, but it can also affect your academic performance, mood, sex drive, and more. 

 

While you may see results through dieting or quick fixes, they will only last short term.  However, through lifestyle changes such as exercising regularly and learning to eat nutritious foods in the proper portions, we can create long term, sustainable health. Keep scrolling to learn more.

What are these containers and how do I use them?

You will fill these containers multiple times a day.

Let's calculate your caloric    baseline.

This is the number of calories you need to simply exist.  Each of us has a unique caloric requirement for basic bodily functions like digesting our food, breathing, blinking, etc.  Not only is it incredibly dangerous to dip below this baseline, it will actually hinder your weight loss goals.  I know it sounds counter intuitive but in order to lose weight, you actually need to eat more.

Now that you know how many calories  you need a day, let's talk meal plans. 

Each program on on Beachbody on Demand comes with a meal plan designed to work specifically with that program.  You can find the meal plans and corresponding food lists under program materials.  These meal plans will tell you how many containers you need to eat each day to fulfill your calorie needs.  All of these materials are printable and there are even tracking sheets and meal planning guides to help you plan for success.
